Great Wedding at Frontier Culture Museum
Last weekend I shot a great wedding for a wonderful couple at the Frontier Culture Museum in Staunton, VA. We had a great time; there was even some treasure at the end of the rainbow!

Is hiring a videographer worth it?
My wife and I recently attended a seminar in Baltimore concerning business and marketing; we both have in home businesses that we need help promoting. If you're reading this, you probably already know about Studio Mac Creative Media. We learned so much about how to approach people from a place of honor. Sharing with people about our businesses is our duty; we provide goods and services that improve people's lives.
With Studio | Mac, I help preserve memories or share experiences with those that couldn't be there in person.
I recently shot a dual junior/senior recital at Bridgewater College for a guitar and sax player. They had the foresight to hire a professional videographer to share and preserve that important moment. Is that worth it?
Hiring a good videographer provides freedom to the people that would be holding up their iPhones trying to get a good shot while avoiding the pouffy-haired person that inevitably sits directly in front of us.
It provides freedom to you; you know you won't miss a thing from those precious, fleeting moments. Video is closest medium we have to preserve the events in our lives that matter the most.
You might be saying "of course the videographer is saying his services are valuable", so I'll pose this question: When was the last time you opened up that photo album of your vacation to central Florida? How many times have you looked at that same album in total? It's probably safe to say that you've watched your favorite video on DVD more.
There's a reason we love to watch moving pictures--we've been in love with that for more than 100 years.

Godspell @ Oak Grove Theater
This week and until the 17th, I'll be playing guitar in Oak Grover Theater's production of Godspell. You have to buy season tickets to see the show (and the season is half over) so maybe just wish my leg broken!
